Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry in Medical Affairs.
- Experience working with cross-functional in-house and field-based teams.
- Oncology-specific experience.
- Prior MSL leadership experience.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated organizational and business planning skills, including budget development.
- Experience conducting formal presentations to Senior Management and external opinion leaders.
- Strong analytical skills, particularly regarding scientific and clinical research/literature.
- Ability to travel extensively (50%).
- Advanced Clinical/Science degree or professional credentials preferred (MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, PA).
Responsibilities
- Build the infrastructure of the company’s first US field medical organization.
- Hire and manage a team of high-performing Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs).
- Implement field strategy in alignment with clinical development and launch plans.
- Oversee the development of MSL onboarding and training curriculum.
- Collaborate on technology and analytics systems for field use.
- Track KPIs and report MSL activities to senior leadership.
- Direct MSL research, educational activities, and healthcare provider interactions.
- Support clinical trial activities and pipeline knowledge management.
