Requirements

  • Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience delivering employee or internal communications, including managing campaigns, channels, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong understanding of internal communications platforms, content management systems, and campaign planning.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  • Data-driven approach to measuring impact and improving outcomes using performance metrics.
  • Collaborative and proactive mindset with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing needs.
  • Willingness to travel when required.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the Group’s lead employee communications partner to support strategic priorities.
  • Develop and deliver integrated internal communication plans and campaigns that drive engagement and business performance.
  • Partner with stakeholders to create compelling communications supporting change, safety, and company culture.
  • Lead and optimize internal communication channels to ensure effective content delivery.
  • Create high-quality content, leadership messaging, and campaign materials.
  • Collaborate with Brand, Strategic Communications, Public Affairs, and Digital teams.
  • Ensure all communications align with Biffa brand, tone of voice, and corporate strategy.
  • Utilize data, employee insights, and metrics to measure impact and improve communications effectiveness.
