Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 10 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated history of forecasting, forecast planning, and market trend analysis.
  • Proven people management and coaching skills.
  • Ability to travel 60% of the time within the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage retail, distributor, and rental business operations across the Western region.
  • Act as a player-coach, directly managing three Regional Sales Managers.
  • Develop and execute product training, merchandising, financing initiatives, and trade show strategy.
  • Collaborate with RSMs on channel management through direct mail, trade shows, and direct sales.
  • Design and implement industry-specific programs to expand revenue and market penetration.
  • Direct OEM and landscape supply channel initiatives through cross-functional partnership.
  • Drive continuous improvement in business workflows, reporting, and operational efficiency.
