Requirements
- Proven track record as a QA Analyst or Tester.
- Deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Substantial experience working directly within internal game development teams.
- Experience collaborating with engineers, artists, and designers.
- Direct experience in a Live Service environment, including rapid deployment cycles and real-time player feedback loops.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear documentation and verbal briefings.
- Strong understanding of gaming trends and player expectations.
- Nice to have: Experience with cozy, community sim, or multiplayer games.
- Nice to have: Familiarity with Unreal Engine.
- Nice to have: API testing experience.
- Nice to have: ISTQB Certified Tester Expert Level (CTEL) or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Drive quality strategy and practices as an embedded member of development teams.
- Craft test plans and test cases from project documentation and hands-on investigation.
- Test games and software while maintaining a player-centric perspective.
- Help guide the development team toward quality objectives in a collaborative manner.
- Strategize with developers to integrate quality practices into development workflows.
- Highlight risks and communicate the state of product quality to the team.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the game.
- Evolve team best practices for planning, testing, code review, documentation, and communication.
