Requirements
- Proven track record as a QA Analyst or Tester.
- Deep understanding of quality assurance methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Substantial experience working directly within internal game development teams.
- Direct experience navigating the challenges of a Live Service environment.
- Skilled at translating complex concepts into clear, actionable documentation and verbal briefings.
- Strong, current understanding of gaming trends and player expectations.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine (Nice to have).
- API testing experience (Nice to have).
- ISTQB Certified Tester Expert Level (CTEL) or equivalent (Nice to have).
- Background in cozy, community sim, or multiplayer games (Nice to have).
Responsibilities
- Drive quality strategy and practices as an embedded member of development teams.
- Craft test plans and test cases from project documentation and hands-on investigation.
- Test games and software while maintaining a player perspective.
- Collaborate with developers to build quality into development practices.
- Highlight risks and communicate the state of quality clearly to the team.
- Contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the game.
- Evolve team best practices in planning, testing, code review, documentation, and communication.
