Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leading teams through complex challenges.
- 4+ years of engineering management experience building high-performing teams.
- Experience developing iOS apps with Swift or managing teams that do so.
- Proven experience shipping large-scale product initiatives with cross-functional dependencies.
- Strong product, analytical, and technical judgment using metrics and experimentation.
- Track record of coaching engineers and managing performance.
- Strong communication skills and ability to align stakeholders.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Proficiency with modern software development workflows and tools including GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
Responsibilities
- Manage, mentor, and grow a team of talented engineers, creating a high-trust environment.
- Lead engineering execution for Growth initiatives spanning acquisition, onboarding, activation, conversion, retention, and monetization.
- Partner with Product, Design, Analytics, and Marketing to define strategy and deliver high-impact experiences.
- Plan and prioritize a roadmap that balances fast iteration with technical quality, scalability, and maintainability.
- Build a strong experimentation culture by partnering on A/B tests, measurement plans, and data-driven decision-making.
- Support the development of systems powering upsells, paywalls, purchase flows, and entitlement systems.
- Guide architecture and technical direction for the team while advocating for operational excellence.
- Hire exceptional talent and coach engineers toward greater scope and impact.
