You will work with technologies like Apache Pinot and StarTree for real-time analytics, handling massive streaming data and enabling sub-second geospatial lookups for over 100 million monthly active users. The team is embracing AI-native engineering workflows, integrating AI at every stage of product design, build, and shipment. This includes using AI tools for ideation, coding, testing, and iteration, driving faster delivery and deeper insights. There is a strong focus on data accessibility, utilizing platforms like Amplitude to provide insights across teams without requiring extensive SQL knowledge. Life360 has also made strides in optimizing mobile release cycles, moving from 6-week to 2-week cycles with automation, feature flagging, and extensive testing to improve quality.
