Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, cash application, collections, or related finance operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
  • Experience working in a high-volume, detail-sensitive environment with recurring deadlines.
  • Familiarity with invoice generation, reconciliations, payment application, and issue resolution.
  • Strong attention to detail for manual and exception-based processes.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills for professional follow-ups.
  • Intermediate Excel skills and ability to work across multiple systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • ERP experience preferred; Workday experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Generate routine customer invoices accurately and on time in accordance with contractual terms.
  • Perform first-level invoice review to support billing accuracy.
  • Apply customer payments and credits accurately to reduce unapplied cash.
  • Monitor customer account balances and perform routine collections follow-up on past-due invoices.
  • Research basic billing issues and payment discrepancies, escalating complex matters.
  • Complete client account reconciliations and support credit memo processing.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to resolve billing blockers.
  • Maintain organized documentation to support auditability and operational continuity.
