Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proven track record of building complex, data-intensive, backend systems.
- 5+ years of expertise in building and scaling production-grade services.
- Proficiency in modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Spring Boot.
- Mastery in designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of asynchronous patterns, streaming, queuing, and caching strategies.
- Experience with robust observability practices including logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills to influence engineering direction.
- Ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Research, evaluate, and prototype cutting-edge solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Computer Vision.
- Design and build robust, highly scalable AI services and data processing pipelines.
- Manage LLM latency and variance, and develop sophisticated prompt engineering strategies.
- Build fault-tolerant, defensive systems that perform consistently at scale.
- Act as the key technical mentor and thought leader for the large engineering team.
- Drive mission-critical initiatives from design to production.
