Requirements
- 14+ years of professional software engineering experience building complex, data-intensive, backend systems.
- 8+ years of expertise in building and scaling production-grade services using modern backend frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Spring Boot.
- Mastery in designing large-scale distributed systems.
- Strong knowledge of asynchronous patterns, streaming, queuing, and caching strategies.
- Demonstrated proficiency in observability practices including logging, metrics, and tracing.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence direction across teams.
- Experience with the complete lifecycle of AI/ML models is preferred.
- Proficiency in MLOps and DevOps practices like CI/CD, IaC, and automated testing.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Spearhead AI innovation by researching, evaluating, and prototyping solutions using LLMs, Computer Vision, and other techniques.
- Architect and build robust, scalable, and cost-effective AI services and data processing pipelines for millions of documents daily.
- Systematically solve practical production AI challenges including latency, variance, and prompt engineering.
- Develop fault-tolerant and defensive systems that perform consistently under high load.
- Act as a force multiplier by providing technical mentorship and leadership to the broader engineering team.
