Requirements

  • 1+ years of successful sales experience or successful tenure as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong consultative, solution, and insight selling skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver presentations virtually and in person.
  • Expertise in negotiation and advanced client management.
  • Strong business, financial, operations, and technology acumen.
  • Ability to analyze industry buying processes and business trends.
  • Ability to succeed in a competitive, goal-oriented environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools preferred.
  • Must live within or adjacent to the Central/North Florida region.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and win net new small to medium business customers within a defined territory.
  • Ramp and onboard new won accounts to expand the customer base.
  • Execute effective appointment setting with decision makers on a weekly basis.
  • Communicate value propositions and product assortments to prospects using professional selling skills.
  • Use CRM and prescribed sales tools to prioritize activities and document customer engagement.
  • Partner with internal customer support and category specialists to progress and close deals.
  • Analyze prospect industry trends to create tailored business solutions.
