Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive experience in analytics or data science.
- At least 3 years leading a team in a high-velocity operations or B2B technology environment.
- Direct experience in a multi-sided marketplace with understanding of supply, demand, and fulfillment dynamics.
- Proven ability to build and scale an analytics function, including hiring and managing analysts.
- Expertise in operational analytics including network performance, partner health, and cost efficiency metrics.
- Strong proficiency in causal inference, A/B and switchback testing methodologies.
- Deep fluency in SQL and Python or R.
- Proficiency in BI and self-service tools like Tableau or Sigma.
- Grasp of modern analytics concepts including semantic data modeling and data cataloging.
- Ability to influence cross-functional priorities without direct authority.
- Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a key thought partner to the COO and Operations leadership team, synthesizing findings into clear recommendations.
- Own the strategic direction and roadmap for operations analytics, scaling the function as the company grows.
- Lead and develop a team of 7, fostering a culture of rigor, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Build a data-driven operations culture focused on nuanced segmentation and impactful insights.
- Champion a test-and-learn mindset, creating analytical infrastructure for measurable experimentation.
- Own the data foundation, building reporting-ready models in Snowflake via dbt and establishing KPI dashboards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Data Tech, Growth, Technology, Product, and Finance on data infrastructure and quality.
