Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
- 4+ years of sales experience in a similar equipment financing environment.
- Verifiable production history in equipment finance.
- Expert knowledge of equipment financing products, pricing, and structure.
- Foundational understanding of financial/credit policies and financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proficiency with SuperTRUMP, TValue, and CRM applications.
- Proven ability to build a pipeline through referrals, cold-calling, and networking.
- Professional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Identify and solicit new business prospects through direct contacting efforts to build a network of sales opportunities.
- Develop partnerships with Flagstar bankers across Commercial and Private Banking Groups to provide financing solutions.
- Achieve and exceed new business volume quotas and portfolio growth goals set annually by management.
- Evaluate potential transactions including the financial position of clients and transaction structure.
- Partner with credit and documentation teams to meet service expectations and manage risk.
- Monitor existing client creditworthiness and respond to changing market conditions and competition.
