Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or foreign equivalent.
  • 4+ years of sales experience in a similar equipment financing environment.
  • Verifiable production history in equipment finance.
  • Expert knowledge of equipment financing products, pricing, and structure.
  • Foundational understanding of financial/credit policies and financial statements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proficiency with SuperTRUMP, TValue, and CRM applications.
  • Proven ability to build a pipeline through referrals, cold-calling, and networking.
  • Professional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and solicit new business prospects through direct contacting efforts to build a network of sales opportunities.
  • Develop partnerships with Flagstar bankers across Commercial and Private Banking Groups to provide financing solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed new business volume quotas and portfolio growth goals set annually by management.
  • Evaluate potential transactions including the financial position of clients and transaction structure.
  • Partner with credit and documentation teams to meet service expectations and manage risk.
  • Monitor existing client creditworthiness and respond to changing market conditions and competition.
