Requirements

  • Proven experience in a high-performing Business Development Representative (BDR) or Inside Sales role.
  • Readiness to own a full quota and manage sales lifecycle ownership.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and resilience to manage 30+ active deal cycles concurrently.
  • Foundational understanding of public procurement concepts such as FAR, agency purchasing schedules, or state-specific contracting vehicles.
  • Ability to articulate Application Security Testing (AST) and SBOM compliance concepts.
  • Skill in working cross-functionally with pre-sales engineering, legal, channel partners, and field marketing teams.
  • Proficiency with sales execution platforms such as Salesforce and Clari.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, advance, and close high-velocity transaction flows.
  • Maintain high daily volume of outbound touches including calls, emails, and social outreach.
  • Lead internal orchestration and drafting of responses to public RFIs, RFPs, and agency solicitations.
  • Partner with regional channel accounts, systems integrators, and distributors to secure transactional closure.
  • Conduct technical-commercial discoveries to position automated software supply chain protection.
  • Maintain sales tech stack data hygiene for accurate forecasting and deal management.
