Requirements

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle sales experience, ideally in a fast-paced or startup environment.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota and managing pipeline.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or a similar CRM.
  • Deep knowledge and passion for vintage trading cards (e.g., pre-war baseball, ‘50s Bowman, ‘86 Fleer).
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Relentless drive for cold outreach, discovery, and closing deals.
  • Coachable, curious, and eager to learn the nuances of the market.
  • Ability to debate card history, grading, and population counts.

Responsibilities

  • Close business by owning the full sales cycle and bringing vintage buyers and sellers onto Alt.
  • Hunt daily to source new consignors and collectors in the vintage space.
  • Build trust and reputation with serious collectors to facilitate consignments, buying, and selling.
  • Shape product direction by spotting gaps in auction formats, pricing tools, or seller workflows.
  • Run independent sales processes including prospecting, qualification, and relationship-building.
