Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 4–6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Deep understanding of GAAP, specifically ASC 606, ASC 718, and ASC 350-40.
- Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle AP, AR, and general ledger accounting.
- Proficiency in Sage Intacct or a comparable ERP system.
- Experience with Bill.com and expense management platforms like Ramp.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, and financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Continuous improvement mindset with a track record of driving process optimization.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the general ledger, ensuring an accurate and well-structured chart of accounts.
- Lead monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts, including bank, fixed assets, accruals, and deferred revenue.
- Oversee full-cycle Accounts Payable and customer invoicing processes.
- Manage corporate credit card reconciliations and employee expense controls via Ramp.
- Prepare revenue and stock-based compensation entries in accordance with ASC 606 and ASC 718.
- Assist with external audits by preparing PBC schedules and coordinating with auditors.
- Drive process improvements and automate accounting workflows using AI or system integrations.
