Requirements
- 5+ years of experience owning the transformation layer of a modern data stack.
- Strong fundamentals in dbt with a focus on testing and documentation.
- Deep expertise in Snowflake including schema design, performance, and governance.
- Fluency in Python with the ability to read, write, and debug code.
- Experience with pipeline orchestration tools like Airflow, Prefect, or Dagster.
- Understanding of healthcare data such as EHR, CRM, or payer claims.
- Ability to communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in HIPAA-aligned environments is preferred.
- Interest in clinical AI product development and infrastructure.
- Experience with Medicaid data and value-based care operations is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end dbt project including documentation, testing, and schema design.
- Manage the semantic layer, including metric definitions and data governance processes.
- Implement and maintain data observability to monitor pipelines and ensure data reliability.
- Evaluate and build a new orchestration layer as part of the AWS migration.
- Collaborate with clinical, operations, and finance stakeholders to translate data insights and define metrics.
