Requirements
- 4–6 years of professional analytics experience.
- Strong SQL proficiency (complex queries, debugging, performance).
- Hands-on experience with dbt or strong motivation to ramp quickly.
- Working understanding of data modeling and schema design (facts vs dimensions).
- Hands-on experience in a modern BI tool (e.g., Hex, Looker, Tableau, Mode, Sigma).
- Familiarity with version control workflows (git, PRs).
- Demonstrated cross-functional partnership with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with AI-assisted analytics workflows.
- Working knowledge of Python is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders across Operations, Customer Success, Product, Growth, and Learning to scope analyses and define metrics.
- Translate ambiguous business-language requests into clear analytical work.
- Design, build, maintain, and iterate on dashboards with a business-intelligence mindset.
- Partner on data modeling decisions and contribute to the warehouse using dbt.
- Take ownership of data quality by building tests and setting up monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering on event instrumentation and source data quality.
- Contribute to the long-term direction of data architecture and analytics practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted workflows for SQL development, dbt modeling, and exploratory analysis.
