Requirements
- Experience in Quality Assurance, QE, or related product-quality role.
- Proven background testing SaaS, B2B platforms, or AI-enabled products.
- Strong manual QA skills (exploratory, edge-case discovery, bug reporting).
- Hands-on automation experience with Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Backend engineering fluency: Python, FastAPI, REST APIs, PostgreSQL.
- Experience with CI/CD integration, observability, and test reliability.
- Strong systems thinking and ability to build QA roadmaps.
- Willingness to align with Northern VA/DC hours or local area.
Responsibilities
- Audit current QA across ARBI, Athena, frontend, backend, APIs, and data workflows.
- Define a comprehensive company-wide QA strategy.
- Design a scalable test architecture using test pyramid principles and shift-left testing.
- Validate AI-assisted recruiting workflows for accuracy, bias, and reliability.
- Develop automated regression suites using Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Test backend services including Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Redis, and asynchronous workflows.
- Establish CI/CD quality gates to inform release readiness.
- Report and track defects with clear documentation and severity definitions.
