Requirements
- 4–7+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, or BI engineering with end-to-end ownership experience.
- Proficiency with advanced SQL and dbt.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or Databricks.
- Experience with BI platforms like Sigma, Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Git-based CI/CD, Terraform, and Docker experience.
- Strong Python skills.
- Experience with EL/ingestion frameworks and orchestration tools.
- Experience designing semantic layers.
- Experience integrating healthcare data such as EMR, RCM, claims, or eligibility.
- Working knowledge of HL7/FHIR and healthcare data standards.
- Expertise in HIPAA/PHI practices and vendor BAA familiarity.
- Strong stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain warehouse and connect it to source systems including EMR, RCM, and scheduling tools.
- Implement ELT and orchestration.
- Own company data strategy, architecture, and design.
- Build curated marts and a governed semantic layer in dbt.
- Add data quality tests, lineage, and alerts.
- Administer BI tool, define roles, and ship dashboards.
- Drive stakeholder discovery and translate questions into metrics and data contracts.
- Train teams on self-serve best practices and documentation.
- Implement HIPAA-aligned security controls.
- Monitor performance, freshness, and cost.
