Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, PharmD, MHA, or similar) strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare institutional account management or market access roles.
- Proven expertise working with IDNs, academic medical centers, and large integrated health systems.
- Deep knowledge of buy-and-bill models, reimbursement structures (ASP, WAC, 340B), and payer dynamics.
- Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders and navigate complex organizational decision-making structures.
- Demonstrated success launching or managing access for complex biologics or specialty therapies.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Proficiency with digital tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or analytics platforms.
- Willingness to travel up to 60% to support customer engagement and field execution.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute tailored strategic account plans that drive formulary inclusion, access expansion, and sustained product utilization across national health systems.
- Conduct deep market and institutional analysis to understand payer dynamics, health system economics, and evolving clinical protocols.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders including pharmacy directors, medical directors, P&T committees, and health system executives.
- Lead complex contract negotiations and lifecycle management across buy-and-bill, ASP/WAC, and 340B reimbursement environments.
- Drive quarterly business reviews, performance tracking, and resolution of access or operational barriers within assigned accounts.
- Partner with internal Market Access, Medical Affairs, and Commercial teams to align strategies and ensure seamless execution across the field.
- Support launch readiness and future pipeline integration across large integrated health systems and institutional networks.
