Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, marketplace management, or key account management.
  • Hands-on experience managing Pure Player platforms.
  • Strong understanding of marketplace levers: pricing, promotions, content, media, fulfillment, and conversion.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action.
  • Experience operating in LATAM markets, particularly Brazil (preferred).
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese fluency (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working within a COE or global operating model (preferred).
  • MBA or advanced degree (plus).

Responsibilities

  • Own Pure Player execution to drive sustainable growth and margin expansion.
  • Manage weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance against key KPIs including POS, contribution margin, ASP, conversion, traffic, and inventory health.
  • Support the development and execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with Pure Players.
  • Manage ongoing commercial negotiations including promotions, visibility programs, media investments, and platform initiatives.
  • Execute the Pure Player operating model, including SKU optimization, promotional planning, and media activation.
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to optimize fulfillment strategies such as MELI Full, Flex, and FBM.
  • Ensure best-in-class content across all priority SKUs and align with brand standards.
  • Act as the central point of coordination between Pure Players and internal Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams.
