Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (technical or engineering discipline strongly preferred).
  • MBA is a plus.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in technical sales.
  • Network in the aerospace composite materials community.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales development and securing new opportunities.
  • Knowledge of composite products in aerospace and defense markets.
  • Experience in contract negotiations, supply chain, and project management.
  • Ability to act autonomously in a team-based, multi-site environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Advanced MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, Dynamics365, and ERP/MRP experience.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new revenue from existing and new pursuits.
  • Lead the development of customer solutions and interface with internal and external resources.
  • Establish and foster relationships with key customer decision makers.
  • Own revenue forecast and manage data within CRM systems.
  • Develop individual customer strategies to position Hexcel products.
  • Collaborate with Product Management to align market needs with product roadmaps.
  • Lead negotiations with support from CBT Director.
  • Engage in industry organizations to develop leads.
  • Maintain growth pursuits using CRM tools.
