Requirements
- 5+ years of business development and direct enterprise sales experience within the sports industry.
- Demonstrated experience working with sports teams and organizations such as Football, Basketball, and Rugby.
- Proven track record managing large, strategic, or marquee accounts.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close.
- Experience designing and implementing business development strategies.
- Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in English and Malay is required.
- Experience in sports technology is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to meet and exceed all revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders across customer accounts.
- Prospect and acquire new clients including teams, leagues, and federations.
- Retain existing contracts and identify upsell opportunities.
- Develop proposals, deliver product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts with key decision-makers.
- Manage, collaborate with, and support referral partners and distributors.
- Maintain CRM records and produce accurate revenue forecasts.
- Identify revenue blockers and communicate them clearly to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success, Product Support, Logistics, Finance, and Legal.
- Monitor industry trends and the competitive landscape to develop strategies to win against competitors.
