Requirements
- Working knowledge of AI and ML systems sufficient to track technical complexity.
- Proven experience managing complex technical projects, specifically within research environments.
- Ability to structure execution across ambiguous and high-stakes efforts.
- Fluent communication skills across diverse groups including engineers, researchers, clients, and funders.
- Demonstrated initiative and ownership of results without needing constant oversight.
- Passionate interest in AI alignment and the potential for meaningful progress.
- Eager to utilize AI tools to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
Responsibilities
- Own research projects end to end from inception to completion.
- Turn abstract research ideas into clear, actionable roadmaps.
- Keep technical teams unblocked and moving at a high velocity.
- Define clear milestones and track progress for leadership, collaborators, and funders.
- Identify dead ends early and maintain focus on high-upside research directions.
- Test, validate, and support technical execution as needed.
