Requirements
- ACAS or FCAS certification.
- Proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- Experience with Python and/or R.
- Experience analyzing profitability of personal and/or commercial lines products.
- Experience evaluating profitability of a portfolio using actuarial techniques.
- Proven experience leading pricing projects end-to-end.
- Strong communication skills for presenting to senior leadership.
- Ability to translate complex analysis into clear strategies.
Responsibilities
- Understand internal data structure and build business relationships.
- Utilize existing rate plans, forecasting tools, and data sources to analyze product performance.
- Evaluate internal KPIs, benchmarks, and rate adequacy.
- Propose and implement changes to rate plans and rating rules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products.
- Research and integrate new features into the production risk model.
- Coach team members on actuarial analytics and risk.
- Manage pricing projects from inception to implementation.
