Requirements
- 15+ years overall industry experience.
- 10+ years engineering leadership in software product, hosted services, or SaaS.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Experience managing senior technical teams and budget/resource planning.
- Experience translating organizational direction into clear execution plans.
- Technical depth in release risks, service reliability, and security/privacy considerations.
- Proficiency with engineering practices such as code review, testing, observability, and CI/CD.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to thoughtfully integrate AI-enabled tools into engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day engineering execution and people management for the Web Applications team.
- Manage Web Services engineers and contractors including coaching and performance development.
- Manage team budget and resource planning including headcount and operational expenses.
- Translate product direction and technical priorities into coordinated engineering plans.
- Establish team processes, workflows, and planning practices to improve predictability.
- Maintain technical context to evaluate tradeoffs, manage risks, and oversee engineering quality.
- Improve engineering practices including code review, testing, documentation, and observability.
- Coordinate launch and operational readiness across technical and cross-functional teams.
