Requirements
- 5+ years of experience managing one or more teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience in Go and full-stack systems.
- Deep experience with AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience with modern distributed systems (microservices, monoliths, event-driven design).
- Proven ability to establish scalable engineering practices (design reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, observability, IaC).
- Strong operator using metrics and KPIs to drive performance.
- Effective and influential communicator.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software.
- Set clear goals, define success metrics, and monitor progress.
- Partner with Product and cross-functional stakeholders to drive prioritization.
- Remove organizational and technical barriers.
- Drive engineering excellence including code quality, testing, and reliability.
- Guide architectural decisions.
- Coach and develop engineering managers and senior engineers.
- Build a culture of ownership and inclusion.
- Support hiring and team building.
