Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in Medicaid billing or a similar remote role.
- Hands-on experience with state billing portals.
- Strong understanding of billing compliance and documentation validation.
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace/Microsoft 365.
- Experience with service authorization forms.
- Ability to work independently during US business hours (CST).
- Proficiency in English; Spanish conversational skills required for the bilingual role.
- Attention to detail in matching logs against claim data.
Responsibilities
- Submit and manage claims through state portals.
- Verify eligibility prior to billing.
- Review service logs and authorizations for accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor claim status and handle denials or resubmissions.
- Maintain accurate billing trackers and reconciliation sheets.
- Prepare and submit financial and billing reports to US clients.
- Communicate with clients via email and phone.
- Ensure all claims meet state billing and documentation standards.
