Requirements
- 5+ years of medical billing support experience (verification of benefits, coding, insurance claims, billing processing, follow-up, and revenue cycle management).
- 3+ years of people leadership in billing support, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or customer operations.
- Expertise in mapping processes and defining performance metrics.
- Experience building scalable workflows.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel for analyzing metrics.
- Experience identifying root causes and communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners.
- Resiliency and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead Billing Support through change management initiatives.
- Strengthen operational rigor across Billing Support and partners.
- Improve alignment across Billing Support, FinOps, EPD, Enablement, and BPO partners.
- Translate operational and billing data into performance stories and recommendations.
- Diagnose root causes of operational issues.
- Influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Balance performance across multiple BPO vendors.
- Build and implement scalable workflows.
