Requirements
- Deep-seated passion for Watson Institute’s mission.
- Experience in enterprise sales or strategic partnership roles with corporations/foundations.
- Strong relationship-building and partnership development skills.
- Talent for persuasive writing and complex communication.
- Systems-oriented and highly organized approach.
- Excel mastery, email wizardry, rapid follow-up, and data analysis skills.
- Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and graphic design (Canva) preferred.
- Ability to manage projects, plans, and checklists with high attention to detail.
- Strong integrity and ability to make critical, sensitive judgment calls.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a portfolio of corporate and foundation partnerships.
- Write and design compelling impact updates including decks, emails, and profiles.
- Participate in and lead prospect and partner meetings.
- Coordinate complex stakeholder mapping and engagement.
- Develop compelling concept notes, decks, and grant applications.
- Design business connectivity points across multiple teams and business goals.
- Coordinate with the VP of Strategic Partnerships, CEO, and leadership team.
- Collaborate with the Design Team on monitoring and evaluation metrics.
- Lead special projects such as landscape analysis and developing thought pieces.
