Requirements
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent (College degree preferred)
- 2+ years experience in a mid-size brokerage or carrier
- Fire and Casualty Broker License
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, presentation software)
- Experience with Agency Management Systems
- Strong interpersonal skills for client communication and team collaboration
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Property & Casualty lines of coverage
Responsibilities
- Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, and certificates
- Assist clients with coverage questions and policy adjustments
- Conduct renewal processes including market comparisons and quote evaluation
- Negotiate premium and commission rates with underwriters and wholesalers
- Prepare presentations and proposals for clients
- Maintain accurate client files in Agency Management Systems
- Perform timely and accurate invoicing and monthly expirations
- Collaborate with Sales Team on coverage strategy and target pricing
