Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of successful sales experience within cybersecurity, information security, or enterprise technology environments.
- Proven track record managing both existing customer accounts and generating new business opportunities.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts, including data protection, access governance, compliance requirements, auditing, risk management, and identity security.
- Familiarity with regulatory and compliance frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or similar standards.
- Demonstrated ability to engage decision-makers at multiple organizational levels and influence purchasing decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Strong consultative selling abilities with experience navigating complex enterprise sales cycles.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, for pipeline management, forecasting, and account tracking.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a portfolio of mid-market commercial accounts, ensuring strong customer engagement, continued solution adoption, and successful renewals.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence and acquire new customers.
- Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, IT leaders, security professionals, and compliance teams, serving as a strategic advisor on cybersecurity initiatives.
- Develop and execute territory strategies that maximize revenue growth across both existing customers and prospective accounts.
- Lead sales engagements from initial discovery through contract negotiation and close, effectively managing complex sales cycles.
- Position security, compliance, and governance solutions to address customer challenges related to risk management, data protection, regulatory compliance, and access control.
- Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, product, and customer-facing teams to ensure solutions align with customer objectives and business needs.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity to strengthen market positioning and identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, account plans, and performance reporting using CRM tools and internal systems.
