Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems; NetSuite preferred.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight month-end deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules across a variety of general ledger accounts.
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Payroll, PeopleOps, Legal, and other business stakeholders.
- Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by analyzing financial results, investigating variances, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Perform flux and variance analyses across key accounts leveraging data analytics and AI-enabled tools.
- Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and internal control enhancements.
- Support external audits, special projects, and system implementations.
