Requirements
- 4+ years of financial/accounting experience.
- Licensed CPA.
- Experience with US-based non-profit fund accounting.
- Expert Excel skills (pivot tables, conditional formatting, complex formulas).
- Proficiency with common accounting systems (Sage Intacct, Salesforce, Bill.com).
- Experience supporting financial audits and drafting footnotes.
- Experience preparing and reviewing Form 990.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong detail orientation.
Responsibilities
- Own revenue reconciliation across multiple payment platforms.
- Perform quarterly grants reconciliation to ensure accurate liability recording and asset rollforward.
- Assist with higher-complexity close processes including lease amortization and accrued vacation.
- Support audit and tax compliance, including Form 990 and financial statement footnotes.
- Drive process improvement by updating workflows and finance function scalability.
- Mentor the Staff Accountant as a go-to resource.
