Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in-house or in a technology practice group in a top law firm
  • Qualified with good standing membership in at least one US state bar with a JD degree or foreign equivalent
  • Intellectually curious and a creative problem solver
  • A self starter with a bias for action
  • A clear and concise communicator
  • A natural collaborator
  • Familiar with the range of legal issues and commercial risks that arise in connection with hosted data and technology services
  • A team player

Responsibilities

  • Support the AMER Sales team, leading negotiations for complex and strategic agreements
  • Advise on a wide range of commercial and legal issues, including launch of new products to Stripe users and support international expansions
  • Work closely with Product Legal to bring new products and features to market
  • Be an integral part of the build out of Stripe’s commercial legal infrastructure
  • Draft and maintain Stripe’s agreements and playbooks
  • Lead and contribute projects to improve internal processes
  • Leverage AI tooling to optimize how we work and collaborate with clients, partners and users
  • Partner with teams across Stripe globally
  • Develop and deliver training and other resources to help the Sales team sell our products
  • Be a point of escalation for outside counsel
