Requirements
- BA/BS in Supply Chain, Analytics, Statistics, or a relevant field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in a high-growth, cross-functional environment with a large product portfolio.
- 7+ years in analytics-focused roles, with demonstrated ownership of building reporting, dashboards, and data models.
- Demonstrated ability to build, structure, and transform complex data sets for reporting and analytics.
- Strong quantitative analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- High proficiency in BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Expert-level Microsoft Office applications.
- Advanced technical capability in writing queries (SQL, OQL, or equivalent).
- Deep understanding of data governance principles.
- Experience in process improvement, standardization, or automation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead the charge in defining and executing a global analytics strategy, delivering end-to-end visibility and empowering teams to make bold, informed decisions.
- Build and maintain innovative dashboards and reporting frameworks that turn data into meaningful stories—spotting KPIs, risks, and opportunities that shape our business.
- Set the standard for data governance, ensuring every piece of information is accurate, consistent, and ready to scale as Deckers grows.
- Drive adoption of reporting tools and foster a culture of data-driven excellence across global stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve data gaps and inconsistencies, implementing sustainable solutions that enhance the integrity and reliability of our trade data.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to define system enhancements and integration improvements.
- Leverage analytics to unlock process optimization, automation, and efficiency gains.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives, communicate insights and priorities to leadership, and inspire accountability for data quality and usage.
- Mentor and elevate team members, advancing analytical capabilities and continuously refining strategy.
