Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 7 years of experience in sales for financial services
- Industry knowledge of mutual funds
- Industry knowledge of hedge funds
- Industry knowledge of collective investment funds
- Industry knowledge of ETF's
- Industry knowledge of PE
- Industry knowledge of real estate
- Industry knowledge of interval/tender funds
- Knowledge of accounting, administration, investor record keeping, distribution and bank custody functions
Responsibilities
- Assess, prospect and call on financial institutions in the mutual fund and alternative investment industries
- Cross sell company products and services to existing clients
- Manage territory to maximize sales resources and revenue opportunities
- Analyze financial position and operational challenges of prospects to determine sales approach
- Coordinate with internal resources to ensure professional delivery of sales, marketing and proposal materials
- Maintain data in Sales Force and provide regular updates to sales director
- Develop and maintain relationships with industry/professional organizations and individuals
- Participate in user group meetings and trade shows
- Stay abreast of current industry trends, competitors and all company products and services
- Participate in on boarding processes to assure seamless transition for new clients
