Requirements

  • 5–10 years of commercial experience in energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries
  • Hands-on experience negotiating and executing complex contracts
  • Strong understanding of deal processes
  • Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  • Experience with federal entities like DOE/DOD preferred
  • Familiarity with state permitting or licensing processes
  • Exposure to renewable PPAs, thermal assets, or infrastructure development

Responsibilities

  • Drive progress on late-stage commercial opportunities including NDAs, LOIs, and definitive agreements
  • Coordinate contract development and execution with internal and external counsel
  • Track deal milestones and dependencies
  • Support negotiations and resolve gaps between commercial intent and executable agreements
  • Coordinate state-level engagement and regulatory touchpoints
  • Track state-specific requirements and approvals
  • Organize opportunities with DOE, DOD, and national laboratories
  • Coordinate inputs for timely government submissions
  • Work across Regulatory, Legal, Permitting, and Finance teams
