Requirements
- Senior experience in Pre-Sales Architecture, Sales Engineering, or similar at a B2B SaaS company
- Track record of supporting $100K+ deals with mid-market or enterprise buyers
- Strong hands-on coding background (TypeScript, Node.js, Go preferred)
- Deep experience with modern API technologies and distributed systems
- Solid understanding of cloud-native development (Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, CI/CD)
- Exceptional communication skills for both technical and executive audiences
- Experience working closely with sales teams on revenue outcomes
- Ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously
- Comfort with ambiguity in early-stage environments
Responsibilities
- Architect complex API integrations and design impactful proof-of-concepts
- Enable the sales team to hit revenue targets through technical support
- Manage technical evaluations and handle prospect objections
- Build trusted engineer-to-engineer relationships with customers
- Document feature requests and share competitive intelligence with Product and Engineering
- Establish repeatable patterns for evaluation-to-purchase conversions
- Create and maintain demo environments and reference architectures
