Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field
- 8+ years of progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle leadership
- Experience managing billing and accounts receivable operations in a healthcare environment
- Strong experience with Medicaid and government payer billing
- Experience improving revenue cycle processes within a growing or complex organization
- Deep knowledge of healthcare billing, reimbursement structures and payer regulations
- Strong technical aptitude with revenue cycle systems, reporting tools, and process automation
- Experience implementing revenue cycle metrics, reporting frameworks and performance dashboards
- Experience operating in multi-state healthcare environments
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end revenue cycle operations including billing, claims submissions, denial management, accounts receivable and collections
- Evaluate existing processes and implement improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and scalability
- Lead the development of modern, scalable revenue cycle infrastructure
- Oversee billing operations across multiple payer types
- Monitor and improve key revenue cycle metrics
- Partner with Finance, IT and Operations to evaluate and optimize revenue cycle technology
- Partner with the VP of Finance, Accounting and FP&A to support revenue forecasting
- Lead and develop revenue cycle team members
