Requirements
- 8+ years in software engineering
- 2+ years managing an engineering team
- Solid Kubernetes experience
- Experience with Go
- Fluent in GitHub operations (issues, PRs, project boards, labels, milestones)
- Strong communication skills
- Technical depth to review PRs
- Experience with software development cycles (Shape Up, Scrum, Kanban)
- Self-directed and comfortable with ambiguity
Responsibilities
- Plan and track development cycles end-to-end
- Run cycle kickoffs and retrospectives
- Maintain GitHub project boards, issues, and milestones
- Manage inbound queue of bugs and customer requests
- Follow up with engineers to close open loops
- Run regular 1:1s with engineers
- Provide coaching and mentorship
- Support the full hiring lifecycle
- Onboard new engineers with 30-60-90 day plans
