Requirements
- Independently licensed mental health counselor
- Experience working with a range of ages: children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Leadership experience in a clinical setting (inpatient, outpatient, IOP, PHP)
- Proficiency in cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox)
- Familiarity with EMR and survey software
Responsibilities
- Assist the Clinical Director to develop and implement an engaging clinical schedule and curriculum.
- Ensure clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices.
- Manage crises and perform on-call duties during nights and weekends.
- Maintain a caseload and facilitate at least 15 hours of group treatment weekly.
- Integrate various modalities like DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI into treatment.
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and referral agencies.
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and DHCS standards.
- Provide clinical supervision per regulatory requirements.
- Model professional ethics and maintain appropriate boundaries.
- Assist in developing relationships with key referral sources.
