Requirements
- Independently licensed mental health counselor.
- Experience working with diverse age groups including children, teens, young adults, and adults.
- Leadership experience in clinical settings such as inpatient, outpatient, IOP, or PHP.
- Proficiency in clinical modalities like DBT, CBT, EMDR, or MI.
- Familiarity with cloud-based communication software (Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox).
- Experience with EMR and survey software.
- Ability to complete state background checks, including Florida fingerprint-based checks.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Clinical Director in developing and implementing an engaging clinical schedule and curriculum.
- Ensure clinical services follow recognized best practices.
- Manage crises during intensive outpatient program delivery and provide on-call support during nights and weekends.
- Maintain a clinical caseload and facilitate at least 15 hours of weekly group treatment.
- Integrate various treatment modalities such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, and MI.
- Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with The Joint Commission and DHCS standards.
- Provide clinical supervision per regulatory requirements.
- Develop relationships with key referral sources and participate in networking.
