Requirements
- Deep expertise in iOS platform architecture, modular design, performance, security, and SwiftUI.
- Proficiency in modern Swift concurrency in production systems.
- Ability to reason across application and platform systems, including backend API behavior, authentication, and release risks.
- Experience shaping client-serving API strategy or BFF-style systems.
- Ability to read, debug, and contribute to backend APIs in Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, Node.js, or Python.
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and AI-driven testing systems.
- Experience defining testing strategy, CI/CD, and production mobile quality standards.
- Track record of leading multi-team technical initiatives and setting engineering standards.
- Excellent product judgment and communication skills (RFCs, ADRs, technical plans).
Responsibilities
- Define architecture, standards, and technical direction for iOS application and platform systems.
- Work hands-on in Swift, SwiftUI, and Swift concurrency to translate complex problems into production-ready systems.
- Shape how mobile work is designed, reviewed, tested, shipped, and operated across initiatives.
- Define standards for client-serving APIs, backend service boundaries, BFF-style systems, and authentication flows.
- Drive reliability through automation, observability, rollout practices, and AI-enabled validation.
- Mentor and elevate Staff, Senior, and mid-level engineers through architecture and design reviews.
