- Lead end-to-end mixed-methods research
- Plan, design, and execute full-cycle research (discovery, evaluative, generative, and strategic) using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Select and tailor the right methods (e.g., interviews, diary studies, usability tests, surveys, concept testing) to answer high-priority questions for the product and design team.
- Deliver robust, timely insights that are tightly aligned with product milestones and decision points.
- Communicate insights in compelling, digestible ways (presentations, workshops, artifacts, dashboards, narratives) tailored to different audiences, from Independent Contributors to Executives.
- Establish and evolve research best practices, processes, and templates that scale.
- De-risk and accelerate product decisions
- Partner with Product, Design, Marketing, Data, and Engineering leads at MetaMask to define research questions, success criteria, and learning roadmaps.
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations that directly influence roadmaps, feature definitions, and UX decisions.
- Identify and articulate trade-offs, risks, and opportunities grounded in user behavior and market context.
- Champion user-centered thinking in planning and prioritization forums, ensuring user impact is considered alongside technical and business constraints.
- Identify cross-team opportunities and scale research
- Work across product lanes, and with other UX Researchers, to uncover shared user needs, overlapping journeys, friction points, and systemic UX issues.
- Help maintain a Continuous Discovery program that builds a durable, always-on understanding of MetaMask (and future) users.
- Contribute to a program of Designer Enablement; training designers, PMs and marketers to self-serve their own evaluative research. This involves coaching stakeholders and creating lightweight frameworks, guidelines, and tools.
- Mentor and support other researchers and cross-functional partners in sharpening research questions, methods, and interpretation.
