Requirements
- Bachelor’s and Advanced Degree in Pharmacy (RPh or Pharm D)
- Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license (any state)
- 5+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
- 3+ years working knowledge of healthcare benefits, account management, pharmacy benefits, or commercial health insurance
- 3+ years experience working in a client-facing role with external clients
- Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience developing and delivering formal presentations
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and account managers to evaluate clinical program goals.
- Provide clinical consultation focused on client satisfaction, retention, and trend management.
- Explain formulary and clinical program value propositions.
- Recommend and implement clinical programs for cost savings.
- Provide clinical market intelligence to clients.
- Respond to plan-specific clinical inquiries.
- Provide guidance on clinical aspects of client quarterly business reviews.
- Incorporate treatment and practice guidelines into presentations.
- Analyze data and interpret drug benefit designs.
