Requirements

  • Bachelor’s and Advanced Degree in Pharmacy (RPh or Pharm D)
  • Current and unrestricted Pharmacist license (any state)
  • 5+ years of experience working as a licensed pharmacist
  • 3+ years working knowledge of healthcare benefits, account management, pharmacy benefits, or commercial health insurance
  • 3+ years experience working in a client-facing role with external clients
  • Executive-level communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience developing and delivering formal presentations

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients and account managers to evaluate clinical program goals.
  • Provide clinical consultation focused on client satisfaction, retention, and trend management.
  • Explain formulary and clinical program value propositions.
  • Recommend and implement clinical programs for cost savings.
  • Provide clinical market intelligence to clients.
  • Respond to plan-specific clinical inquiries.
  • Provide guidance on clinical aspects of client quarterly business reviews.
  • Incorporate treatment and practice guidelines into presentations.
  • Analyze data and interpret drug benefit designs.
