Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience in HR Generalist, HRBP, or client-facing advisory/PEO/ASO roles.
  • Advanced knowledge of U.S. employment laws (Wage and Hour, Leave Administration, Hiring, Employee Relations, Terminations).
  • Active HRCI or SHRM certification.
  • Strong consultative and customer-facing communication skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex HR/compliance topics into practical business guidance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and Slack.
  • Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide HR compliance and best-practice guidance to U.S.-based small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Consult with clients via phone and written communication regarding HR questions and concerns.
  • Research federal, state, and local employment regulations.
  • Deliver professional recommendations to support client decision-making.
  • Manage client inquiries while meeting service level expectations.
  • Serve as a senior HR resource for clients and internal team members.
  • Mentor colleagues and assist in identifying knowledge gaps.
  • Contribute to the creation of compliance resources, articles, and educational content.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and service delivery models.
  • Manage client escalations and lead departmental projects.
