Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or similar role or completion of post-secondary schooling in this area.
- Experience with HRIS or other data management tools is a plus.
- A customer service mindset with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including basic functions of Excel.
- Experience with Google Workspace is an asset.
- A proactive and resourceful approach to problem-solving.
- A desire to learn and grow in the field of HR Operations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate employee data and perform regular updates to employee records from hire to retire.
- Support the new hire onboarding process, including following up with employee, completing employment verifications, and other administrative tasks.
- Respond to and resolve routine employee inquiries and requests in a timely manner, escalating complex issues as needed.
- Create and maintain personnel files, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and kept confidential.
- Generate basic HR reports as needed to support general HR queries.
- Assist with data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency across all HR systems.
- Collaborate with the HR team to help with various HR initiatives and projects.
- Utilize a case management tool to track and prioritize requests.
- Provide administrative support for various HR functions.
