Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional HR experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience in an HR Advisor, HR Business Partner, HR Manager, HR Generalist, or similar capacity.
- Proven experience conducting workplace investigations involving harassment, discrimination, retaliation, policy violations, and other sensitive employee relations matters.
- Strong understanding of employment laws, HR policies, compliance requirements, and best practices related to employee relations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex and sensitive cases with professionalism, objectivity, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear, detailed, and legally defensible documentation.
- Strong consulting, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and support leaders effectively.
- Exceptional conflict resolution, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, work independently, and drive timely case resolution.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen with the ability to identify trends, assess organizational risk, and support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage workplace investigations involving allegations of harassment, discrimination, retaliation, inappropriate behavior, policy violations, and other employee relations concerns.
- Conduct comprehensive fact-finding activities, including interviews, documentation reviews, and evidence analysis, while preparing clear and legally defensible investigation reports and recommendations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and leaders by providing guidance on complex workplace issues, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Partner with leadership teams to review investigation outcomes, recommend corrective actions, and ensure consistent application of policies and employment practices.
- Coach managers on handling employee concerns, promoting positive workplace behaviors, and preventing recurring employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence and internal stakeholders to ensure policy consistency, enhance employee resources, and support self-service initiatives.
- Analyze employee relations trends and investigation findings to identify opportunities for process improvements, standardization, and organizational risk reduction.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation in compliance with internal standards and legal requirements.
- Support additional HR advisory services, including accommodation requests, performance management consultations, and special projects as needed.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of investigation procedures, documentation standards, and HR best practices.
